Tyrone's Self-Introduction

Hello everyone.  I want to thank you for taking the time to get to know a little bit about me.  My name is Miles Tyrone Leader Jr. but, you can call me Tyrone.  I am the proud creator and fitness coach of Guidance Program.  I am currently 36 years old.  I was born in Arlington, Virginia (right outside Washington D.C.). I was raised in Staten Island, New York, but currently reside in the Bronx.  I received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Berkeley College in 2005.  And in October 2017, I was the recipient of the NAACP Youth Service Education Award.

I have 8 years of military service in the Army Reserves as a Civil Affairs Specialist and have served one year in Iraq, where I was part of a team that helped rebuild the public services of the City of Kirkuk (Operation Iraqi Freedom).  I have over eight collective years of public service in law enforcement, community affairs and education with the City of New York.

I have been offering information for personal development since 2014, when I published my first book, a personal finance and investing strategy book titled It's Not Your Fault!.  Since 2015, I have been creating and publishing self-improvement, fitness and inspirational content under Guidance Program (self-improvement & fitness coaching).  I am an author of 4 books and an advocate for self-improvement, physical fitness and inspiring the ambitions of others. 

I have 25 years of experience in martial arts and fitness, with a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. I am also well versed and experienced in mixed martial arts.  I have personally conducted multiple interactive and educational workshops (e.g. Bullying, Fitness, Self-defense, Money Management) for families at the Middle School I work for, as well as self-defense for Delta Academy, a girls mentoring group located in the Bronx community.   Since 2012, I have been studying the application of various workouts in order to achieve physical fitness relative to specific individual goals.  During that time, I have also been practicing and developing various practical, yet highly effective, targeted workouts based on four fitness categories.  I am extremely dedicated to sharing my passion for physical fitness with people who want to get in shape and become physically fit. 

My passion for improving upon myself mentally, physically and emotionally has lead me to share that passion with people who want to improve upon themselves as well.  Whether I deliver my messages of self-improvement and fitness through videos, in books or face to face, live and in person, I promise to provide an incredible experience and show you the passion I have for what I do.​
